Soward says: There's no better place to play than Henson Park for Newtown with their season on the line. Playing at home will certainly be an advantage of them against a Magpies side who are short of troops with the top squad looking like they'll miss out. Wests, for me, will miss the top 8 and think they may struggle against the Jets. Newtown by 10.

Soward says: It was a surprise win last week from Wenty to keep their finals aspirations alive but I think the mountain will be too steep for them against the Bulldogs. The Dogs are a powerhouse of this competition and had a great win last week against the Rabbitohs. I think they'll continue their winning form and win by 12.

Soward says: The Dragons for me are certainly one of the favorites for this competition and they have to work out the puzzle with their spine and speedsters but I'm sure Matt Head will work something out moving forward. Soward says: The Knights have had a disappointing season and am expecting the Rabbitohs to head up there with a professional effort in the hopes of bouncing back after their loss last week. Soward says: It's definitely a danger game for the Mounties having won games two in a row after losing six in a row. so you get the idea that they have got themselves into some form at the back end of the year.
