NSW Wheelchair RL Names Origin Coach

New South Wales Wheelchair Rugby League (NSWWRL) would like to announce the appointment of Edie George as the new Head Coach of the state team.

George replaces now national (Australian Wheelaroos) coach  Brett Clark who coached the NSW Wheelchair team to back-to-back titles in 2018-19 over Queensland.

George has coached in the NSW Tertiary Rugby League competition and Junior Rugby League and has managed a number of representative teams at national and international level, as well as serving as an administrator over a number of years.

He is respected in the NSWWRL community, having been involved in the sport since 2013 as well as playing in Country-City games and representing NSW.

He will take charge of the NSW team to prepare for an end-of-season State of Origin wheelchair game against Queensland.

NSWWRL has also appointed Cherie Moulang as team manager and Linda Kitchen as head trainer.
