Jordan Pereira earned a reputation as being one of the most prolific try-scorers in the Canterbury Cup NSW in recent years and it's no surprise he has now cemented his place in the St George Illawarra Dragons first-grade side.
Pereira burst onto the scene in 2018 after managing just eight appearances for the Red V in 2017, scoring 16 tries in 16 games in the Canterbury Cup NSW before earning an NRL debut in Round 19.
He finished that campaign with nine first-grade games and three tries, which also included two finals appearances, before recording 11 more games in 2019 and finishing the season in the Canterbury Cup NSW.
His best performance in the NSWRL's premier competition came in Round 9 of the 2018 season, producing four tries, four line-breaks, seven tackle-breaks and 241m in an incredible individual performance.
He has now well and truly made the left-wing his own in 2020, playing in all six NRL fixtures for the Dragons and scoring his first try of the season in their 20-8 victory over Gold Coast Titans in Round 6.
He signed a contract extension with the club last year which will see him remain with the Red V until at least the end of 2021.
