Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have today announced the signing of former Wests Tigers centre Reece Hoffman on a one-year deal.
Hoffman, one of the strike outside backs for a dominant Western Suburbs Magpies side in The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup in 2021, scored a try on his NRL debut back in 2020 against the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
After being rewarded for his 2021 season, the 20-year-old now comes to a new-look Bulldogs outfit with a host of recent recruits, with the club making their return to the NSW Cup under the Canterbury-Bankstown banner.
Hoffman played 14 matches for the second-placed Magpies in 2021, scoring six tries and setting up five. He also had five line-breaks, five line-break assists, 19 tackle breaks, and averaged 76.6 run metres and 11.5 tackles per game.
His signing will further improve the Bulldogs’ stocks in an already strong group of outside backs at Trent Barrett’s disposal in 2022.
