Knights secure Saifiti for three more years

Two-time Westpac NSW Blues representative Jacob Saifiti has agreed to terms on a three-year contract extension with the Newcastle Knights.

Having debuted for Newcastle back in 2016, the new deal will see the local junior remain at the club until at least the end of 2027.

With 142 NRL games to his name, Saifiti is one of the game’s premier front-rowers, and his signature is an important one for the Knights as they look to build on a strong finish to the 2023 season.

Knights Director of Football and former NSW team manager, Peter Parr, believes the best is still to come for the 27-year-old.

“Jacob has shown over the past few seasons that he is one of the most consistent middle forwards in the NRL,” Parr told newcastleknights.com.au

“We have no doubt his best football remains in front of him, and we are delighted he has re-committed to the Knights.“
