Eels and Moses agree to five more years

Westpac NSW Blues halfback Mitch Moses has signed a five-year deal to remain with the Parramatta Eels until the end of the 2029 season.

That will bring the talented playmaker, goal kicker to 13 seasons with the Eels since joining the club in 2017 from Wests Tigers.

The 30-year-old has 225 NRL matches to his name already, with 46 tries and 552 goals. He was also named captain for Parramatta’s 2025 season.

For the Blues he has played five Origin games – all at No.7 – and been a part of two series wins in 2021 and 2024.

He scored a memorable try at Suncorp Stadium last year to wrap up the Ampol State of Origin campaign 2-1 over the Maroons with a 14-4 victory.

Moses was crucial in NSW regaining the Origin shield last year, returning to the side in Game Two and being named Player of the Match.

From his two games at the MCG and the decider at Suncorp Stadium, he had four try assists, his own try, two line-break assists, one line-break, three tackle-busts, 13 line-engagements, sent up 12 bombs and lined up four grubbers as part of his 32 kicks for 993 metres.
