Warriors name unchanged 17 for State Championship showdown

Warriors coach David Tangata-Toa has named an unchanged line-up from the side that claimed The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup last weekend, to take on Hostplus Cup champions the Burleigh Bears in Sunday’s NRL State Championship at Accor Stadium.

Having backed up their first-place finish and turning around a 24-10 Major Semi-final loss against St George Illawarra to then beat the Dragons in the NSW Cup Grand Final two weeks later, the Warriors now face a Bears outfit who also finished first in the Hostplus Cup in what shapes as a mouth-watering clash to kick off 2025 NRL Grand Final day.

If you’re not at the venue for Sunday’s NRL State Championship, fans can tune to watch from 1.20pm live and free on Channel 9.
