Origins: 8 (2022, 2023 G1/G2, 2024 G1/G2/G3, 2025 G1/G2)
Nickname: EmComing back into the NSW side in 2022 and a seven-year stint with the Rugby Sevens, the 2016 Olympic gold medallist has played every Origin game since 2022.
While six of those matches were at fullback, Verran’s acceleration and game-sense has been used off the bench this year at hooker. Her versatility was again on show in Game Two when she reverted from rake to the right wing for the injured Jaime Chapman.
Verran made 23 tackles, five dummy-half runs among her 68 metres, and four tackle-breaks.
