Her two tries formed the backbone of NSW’s 20-point win but the work that went in behind those reinforced Kernick’s value to the Blues.She made the most tackles (35), the most post-contact metres (99) and the most runs (24) of any of her teammates but racked up a game-high 242 metres of any player on the field.
Kernick was a well-deserved Player of the Match winner showing the form that has won her the Dally M Second Rower of the Year for the past three seasons (2022-2024) as well as her major Dally M gong last year.
