The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup
The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup is the state's premier men's competition, providing a direct pathway into the NRL.
In 2021, the NSWRL announced a new naming-rights partner for the competition in conjunction with Transport for NSW, The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup. It has been previously known as Reserve Grade, Presidents Cup, NSWRL First Division, NSWRL Premier League, Intrust Super Premiership NSW and Canterbury Cup NSW.
The competition continues to be a vital pathway for the NRL and features NRL-contracted players every weekend from 14 clubs, including Melbourne Storm and the Auckland-based Warriors.
