Jarryd Hayne’s incredible NFL story continues to unfold after the former NSW VB Blues fullback again became the centre of attention in the San Francisco 49ers’ preseason home opener against the Dallas Cowboys.

Having made an explosive start in his debut game last week against the Houston Texans, the Hayne Plane again starred for the 49ers, reeling off three superb punt returns for an average of 28 yards.

Following Hayne’s third punt, one commentator said: "It's going to be a hard not to put that guy on this football team." Another commentator said: "If you thought he made a statement last week, he's screaming from the mountain tops here in the first quarter."

Hayne’s bid to master American Football and climb into San Fransisco’s 53-man squad is becoming more and more likely.
