Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs flyer Brett Morris has no doubts he’s still one of the game’s elite wingers.
Speaking 1-on-1 exclusively with NSWRL.com.au, the 30-year-old says injury setbacks along the path to his Origin return makes the feat that much sweeter.
“Injuries are a part of Rugby League, they certainly are frustrating … you’d rather be playing footy week in, week out,” Morris says.
“I’ve shown that even though I’ve had injuries, I can still perform at the highest level, and perform well.
“Laurie [Daley’s] put a lot of faith in me, I’m certainly looking to repay that faith.”
