Your chance to rub shoulders with NSW Women's Origin team

More than 100 girls will get the opportunity to not only watch the Harvey Norman Women’s NSW Origin team go through their paces at a training session but meet the players afterwards.

Harvey Norman has organised the clinic at the Sky Blues home ground at the NSWRL Centre of Excellence at Sydney Olympic Park on Sunday 20 June.

The 19-member squad will go through their drills and set plays between 2pm-3pm under the watchful eyes of head coach Kylie Hilder, who was a member of the past two women’s State of Origin teams (2019-2020), and her assistant former Manly Sea Eagles coach, Geoff Toovey.

Following the session, girls aged between 5-14 years will take part in a coaching clinic from 3pm-4pm.

But girls must register for the clinic as places are limited.

Between 4pm-4.30pm there will be a signing session and the chance to take photos with the players.

“Clinics like these are a great opportunity to have a meet and greet with our Harvey Norman Women’s Origin open and Under 19s teams,” said NSW team manager Yvette Downey.

“It’s a chance for young girls aspiring to be the next generation of Sky Blues to come and meet the current players.

“Women’s participation continues to be one of the fastest growing areas of our game with more than 20,000 registered females state-wide for the first time ever.”
