Mounties 30 (J Hawkins 2, M Barnett, P Mataele, J McCrone, R Kennedy tries; M Cornish 3 goals) bt Newtown Jets 24 (C Smith 2, T Murphy, S Sauiluma, D Wells tries; Murphy 2 goals)
SUMMARY: Mounties stepped back into the winners' circle after defeating the Newtown Jets in the nation’s capital on Saturday. The six-point victory is Mounties’ first in a month, keeping them within striking distance of front-runners, Penrith. The home side led 30-4 heading into the final 20 minutes, but a late surge from the Jets saw them score four tries in the final 15 minutes to give the home fans a scare. 

Warriors 24 (K Maumalo 4, G Fisiiahi, D Peyroux tries) bt Illawarra Cutters 22 (S Coster, E Roberts, J Vaivai, C Lewis tries; B Wallace 3 goals)
SUMMARY: Despite scoring three tries in the final 10 minutes of play, the Ilawarra Cutters have fallen two points short against the Warriors at WIN Stadium. Four tries to Warriors winger Ken Maumalo proved the difference, as the visitors moved to the top of the competition table with their fifth straight win.  

Canterbury Bulldogs 24 (C Thompson 3, J Graham, L McGrady tries; L Dodd 2 goals) bt Penrith Panthers 10 (M Watene-Zeleniak, T Sopoaga tries; A Davis goal)
SUMMARY: The Bulldogs have further proven their premiership credentials with a 14-point win over first-placed Penrith in extremely windy conditions. Corey Thompson scored a hat-trick for the Bulldogs; in what was a scrappy game riddled by countless errors and ill-discipline from both sides.

Wyong Roos 28 (N Smith 2, S Langi, S Matagi, M McIllwrick tries; T Cornish 4 goals) bt Newcastle Knights 26 (H Tuha 3, P Mata'utia, J Tapine tries; K Holland 3 goals)
SUMMARY: Wyong have come from behind to defeat Newcastle by two points at No2 Sports Ground. Down by 10 and with the wind behind their backs, the Roos came home strong to overcome an injury-plagued Knights to win 28-26 in a entertaining game.

Wentworthville Magpies 27 (B Henry 3, F Goodall, V Toutai tries; Henry 3 goals; Henry field goal) bt North Sydney Bears 20 (C Walker 2, J Reddy, J Gosiewski tries; D Nicholls 2 goals)
SUMMARY: Wentworthville have resisted a North Sydney Bears fightback to pick up an important 27-20 victory. Magpies halfback Beau Henry scored an early hat-trick for the visitors, before calmly slotting a field goal to seal the win. The Bears welcomed back Rabbitohs-contracted Kyle Turner, who inspirationally returned from a serious injury.
