NSW Rugby League are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of our Life Members, John Riordan.
John Riordan was a long-time servant of NSW Rugby League as a Vice President of the organisation and a significant contributor.
John was particularly active in the life of our junior leagues and in the association which was formed with all of the metropolitan junior leagues.
His significant involvement with Country Rugby League meant that John contributed to every area of activity regarding the game in our state.
“John Riordan was an administrative giant of our game and he will be sorely missed,” NSW Rugby League Chief Executive David Trodden said.
“NSW Rugby League offers its sincere condolences to the family and friends of John Riordan.”
