Penrith Panthers - 2016

With another young, exciting squad and a returning coach with an impressive success rate, the Penrith Panthers could be in for a big year in 2017.

Garth Brennan, who led the side to premiership glory in 2014, will look to repeat his efforts after coming back from a year as NRL Assistant Coach. Highlighted by promising second-rowers Jed Cartwright and Corey Waddell - and with the experienced Zach Dockar-Clay and Malakai Watene-Zelezniak providing leadership on the field - Penrith could have the recipe for success this year. Brennan runs through the players selected in his 13-man likely Intrust Super Premiership NSW squad, explaining what each brings to the team.
